La Manda Broyles
La Manda has dedicated her career to serving others, combining a background in education with a passion to serve others. La Manda holds two master’s degrees in Instructional Specialty where she emphasized in Special Education / Mental Health in School Leadership. With twelve years of experience as a public-school educator in Arkansas and Kansas, she developed a deep understanding of the challenges facing communities and individuals.
In the summer of 2021, La Manda transitioned to Topeka Rescue Mission (TRM) as the Senior Director of Ministry Operations, overseeing the day-to-day activities that support and empower the mission's outreach efforts. In April of 2022, her commitment and leadership were recognized, and she was appointed as the Executive Director of TRM, continuing her mission to effect positive change in the lives of the homeless and underserved populations in Topeka.

Beyond her role at TRM, La Manda is actively involved in local initiatives aimed at addressing homelessness. She serves on the City of Topeka Homeless Innovation Core Team, the Homeless Task Force, and the Capital City Outreach Team, advocating for those who often go unheard and ensuring they receive the care and support they deserve.
La Manda's work is driven by her faith and compassion, striving to embody the love of Christ in all she does. La Manda has a deep-rooted desire to show others they are never too far gone and there is always hope in the Lord who wants to transform our lives and heal our hurts. She believes in the transformative power of hope and dedicates herself to building partnerships with businesses, agencies, and organizations focused on community health and development.
