Chris Palmer

Chris Palmer was born and raised in Topeka and graduated from Topeka High School and the University of Kansas.  Chris and his wife Lynette have been married 31 years and have three sons, Nicholas, Jackson and Bradley.  For the past 11 years Chris has served as the Executive Director of Cornerstone of Topeka, Inc., a local non-profit affordable housing provider and developer with 218 Housing Units in Topeka.  Previously he was a commercial real estate agent and business broker for KS Commercial.  As an active member of our community, Chris is a member and past board member of Downtown Topeka Rotary, a member of the Kansas Public Radio Advisory Board, past president of the Friends of the Topeka Zoo Board of Directors, past president of the Topeka Swim Association Board of Directors, is a past member of the Community Resources Council Board of Directors, past chairman of the Topeka/Shawnee County Homeless Task Force, past member of the Community Bank Advisory Board, a 2012 graduate of Leadership Greater Topeka, past active member of the Topeka Active 20-30 Club and a member and past Vestry Member of St. David’s Episcopal Church.

Chris’ interests include KU Sports, being a USA Swimming Official and traveling with his family.
