City of Topeka

Carrie Higgins is a licensed social worker with deep ties to the community. She was born and raised in Topeka and graduated from Washburn University. She is currently the housing services division director for the City of Topeka and the Topeka/Shawnee County Continuum of Care lead. Carrie serves on numerous boards and committees and is passionate about making a difference. She has spent over 20 years working with families and individuals in crisis in her community.
